Six years ago, Cenata was founded with a clear ambition: to modernise outwards reinsurance operations through genuinely cloud-native technology, deep market expertise, and an uncompromising focus on data quality.
In 2026, as we celebrate our sixth anniversary, we do so as a trusted partner to insurers across multiple territories, recognised for delivering operational control, regulatory confidence, and measurable business value through our platform, CenataSure.
This milestone is not simply about longevity. It represents six years of disciplined execution, strategic growth, and an unwavering commitment to raising standards across the reinsurance ecosystem.
From Vision to Platform
Cenata was established to solve a very specific problem: ceded reinsurance operations were too often constrained by legacy platforms, fragmented data, and manual workarounds.
Rather than adapt older systems, we built CenataSure as a genuinely cloud-native solution from day one, designed in the cloud, for the cloud. This architectural decision has enabled:
Our early years were defined by product focus and engineering depth. We invested heavily in architecture, security, and domain expertise to ensure that what we built would stand up to the demands of global insurers and the London Market.
Establishing Market Credibility
Over the past six years, Cenata has moved from challenger to recognised specialist within the reinsurance technology landscape.
Key milestones include:
Our work with leading carriers has demonstrated that modernising ceded reinsurance is not simply a systems upgrade, it is a transformation in data quality, operational control, and executive visibility.
Data Quality as a Strategic Differentiator
From inception, Cenata has treated data as a strategic asset rather than a by-product of processing.
We have embedded rigorous data validation, governance controls, and auditability into CenataSure. This focus enables:
As the industry increasingly embraces AI and advanced analytics, the importance of trusted, structured data has only intensified. Our early commitment to high-quality data foundations positions both Cenata and our clients for long-term competitive advantage.
AI with Discipline and Trust
As Artificial Intelligence moves from experimentation to operational deployment, Cenata has taken a pragmatic and responsible approach.
Our vision is clear: AI should augment expertise, not replace it. Over the past year, we have formalised our AI governance frameworks, implemented data safeguards, and embedded explainable principles into our strategy.
For our clients, this means confidence. Confidence that:
This measured approach ensures innovation does not come at the expense of trust.
A Team Built for the Market
Perhaps our greatest achievement over the past six years has been the calibre of our people.
Cenata brings together technologists, reinsurance practitioners, data specialists, and client delivery experts. This combination enables us to operate not simply as a software vendor, but as a partner who understands the operational, regulatory, and commercial realities of ceded reinsurance.
Our growth has been deliberate. We have prioritised expertise, cultural alignment, and long-term client relationships over short-term expansion.
Delivering Measurable Outcomes
As we reflect on six years, the most meaningful measure of success is the value delivered to clients.
Across implementations, we have helped insurers to:
Looking Ahead
Six years is a significant milestone, but for Cenata, it is only the beginning.
Our ambition is clear:
Reinsurance remains one of the most complex operational domains within insurance. That complexity is precisely why modern, intelligent, cloud-native platforms are no longer optional, they are essential.
Finally
We are proud of what we have built.
We are even more excited about what comes next…
