# Cenata and the Leo Lion Foundation Support Kingston Primary School

25 July 2025

Cenata, in partnership with the Leo Lion Foundation, is proud to have supported Kingston Primary School in Thundersley, Essex, with a significant contribution towards the school’s technology resources.

The initiative was sparked by a heartfelt letter from the school’s Headteacher, received by Aimee Carracher, a long-serving member of the Cenata team and parent of a pupil at Kingston. The letter outlined the school’s ongoing challenge: like many others, Kingston Primary sets ambitious educational and financial goals each term, often relying on its Parent Teacher Association and the generosity of supporters to bridge funding gaps and provide improved resources for its pupils.

Recognising the school’s commitment to delivering a rich and varied education, and inspired by its vision to equip children with the tools they need for the future, Aimee shared the letter with Cenata’s leadership team. Jim Barry, Chairman at Cenata, immediately saw strong alignment between the values of the foundation, namely promoting education, technology, and positive social impact, and those of Kingston Primary.

As a result, last week Cenata was delighted to present Kingston Primary School with a cheque for £5,000 on behalf of the Leo Lion Foundation. This generous donation enables the school to surpass its annual technology fund target. The funds will be used to upgrade the school’s tablets ahead of the new academic year, ensuring pupils have access to high-quality digital learning tools.

Aaron Cross, Headteacher at Kingston Primary, expressed his gratitude in a response letter, noting that the upgraded devices will “open up exciting new opportunities for learning, creativity and communication.”

Looking ahead, Cenata is excited to visit Kingston Primary next year to see first-hand the difference this partnership has made. The team also plans to spend time with the pupils, sharing insights into the world of technology and the positive role it can play in education.

Cenata and the Leo Lion Foundation are proud to support schools like Kingston Primary. Receiving a high-quality education is essential, it creates opportunity, social mobility,  positive self-esteem, and can truly make a lifelong difference.
